Steve Rixon visits FFLV

In the month of October, we had the pleasure of visit from Mr. Steve Rixon, an incredible ex- Cricket coach from Australia. During his stay in Vrindavan, he spent most of his time at FFLV. He was delighted to see our projects. We organized a special cultural program for him which he liked very much, and shared his experience with us. “ I enjoyed the hospitality of the occasion. My first observation of Food for Life Vrindavan is very very good. Whatever performances I saw today including the yoga, gymnastics, dance and playing of the instruments by these young girls was unbelievably good. This wouldn’t have happened without a lot of people. The opportunity to become a dancer, or anything like this, specially coming from a rural background, is a big achievement. Rita Bahuguna Joshi visits FFLV

On 8th October, 2018, we had the honor of having Mrs. Rita Bahuguna Joshi, Cabinet Minister of Women Welfare, Family Welfare, Maternity and Child Welfare and Tourism, Uttar Pradesh with us at FFLV. She met with the girls of Sandipani Muni School and was really pleased to see the project. A special program was conducted in her honor and she was fascinated by what she saw and shared her experience with us- “I had an amazing experience at FFLV- the most beautiful experience of my life. Since 40 years, I have been working for women empowerment, and after what I saw here, I truly believe that the trustees of FFLV from around the world have created a beautiful place for these girls, especially Rupa Raghunath who planted this seed 25 years back. Mercedes Alonso visits FFLV

Early this October, we had the honor of having Mercedes Alonso, The deputy of Family and Citizenship, a Spanish politician of the Partido Popular, with us at FFLV. On her 3 days visit to Vrindavan, she spent most of her time with the girls of Sandipani Muni School and was pleased to see the project. She was also the guest of honor of a very special evening program which we organized to distribute Girl’s Fund to our girls who have recently graduated. This program was also attended by Luis Pulido, the President of the Board of the Dharma Foundation in Spain.
