Juniors bid a warm farewell to 12th graders

On 29 January 2020, students and teachers of Sandipani Muni Inter College, FFLV organized the FAREWELL PARTY for the outgoing 12th-grade students at school premises. At first, all seniors received a warm welcome as they entered the party hall wearing traditional attire. The program began with a welcome speech and a dance performance by junior students and then was followed with group dance performances. Several fun games were also arranged wherein the senior students actively participated with full spirit and zeal. An ambiance of enjoyment and music was nicely created for the seniors to enjoy their final days in school. In the end, a token of appreciation was presented by all three Principals to each leaving student for their diligence during the years and to also wish them all the best for their future career and endeavors. New Year Gift Festival 2020

Another yearly gift distribution completed!!! Dear FFLV friends and supporters, we want to express our gratitude for all your donations towards the New Year Gift Festival 2020. It was an extreme winter this year and after a long delay due to school closures, we have now successfully completed the yearly distribution of 5000 gift bags for the girls at Sandipani Muni School and the rest of the school in the nearby villages. The first day of the festival took place on the 20th of January and lasted up to the 22nd of January 2020 where the gift bag distribution started from Sandipani Muni Schools and then proceeded towards local government schools. It was so amazing to see those happy and enthusiastic smiles while receiving gifts. Georgetown University visited FFLV

On the 4th of January, we had the privilege to receive a visit from a few students and professors from Georgetown University which is a leading research university based in Washington DC, USA. Their visit started with a tour of our Sandipani Muni schools accompanied by our team members in order for them to understand more about the projects FFLV has been undergoing. Moreover, a seminar was conducted which was focused on environmental contamination and prejudices, specifically focusing on Yamuna river pollution where a few students and teachers from SMS, FFLV office staff and visitors from Georgetown university took part. A powerful presentation was delivered by our staff members about our beliefs, the degraded situation of the Yamuna river and initiatives performed by FFLV under the Clean Yamuna project and other initiatives taken to clean and protect the natural environment of Vrindavan.
