During this tough time of lockdown as a consequence of the coronavirus pandemic, all the schools in India have been completely shut down since March: as a result, the studies of thousands of students have been adversely affected.
Therefore, as a reasonable alternative, the Uttar Pradesh Educational Board has advised schools to start online classes through the means of WhatsApp groups for the new academic session 2020-2021. Students and Teachers of Sandipani Muni Inter College, FFLV of class 10th and 12th are connected through a WhatsApp group according to their respective grades.
The study material such as notes by teachers, e-books, PDFs, Video lectures, Youtube videos, daily homework, and queries are being shared by the respective subject teachers. However, it is rather challenging for many of our students as they can’t access the study materials due to the fact that some of their families do not own a smartphone. As a temporary and practical solution, students who have a smartphone discuss and explain the daily study material with students not having smartphones over the phone conversation and helping them to prepare short notes.
Concerning the other grades, students from Prep to 9th and 11th grades are promoted to the next grade without attending their final exams for the 2019-2020 session. Furthermore, the evaluation and final results of the 10th and 12th UP Board exams 2019-2020 are expected to be received by early July as the lockdown will be lifted. Hope that the school will be reopened in July this year and lessons will resume as normal.
