Shashika’s colorful donation

Recently, Shashika, a versatile and an independent artist from S.Africa donated colorful Kurtis and tops for our girls who are college graduates, working part-time/ full time and are in school. The girls were overjoyed after receiving the clothes. We thank her for her service and hope that she will come and visit us in the near future.   About Shashika:- Shashika Mooruth is a versatile and independent artist from S.Africa. She received the International Achiever Award on 2nd June 2018 from the President of South Africa, Honorable Cyril Ramaphosa at SAMA24 (South African Music Awards) organized by The Recording Industry of South Africa RISA at The Superbowl, Sun City,  Johannesburg, South Africa. She also became the first South African of Indian origin to receive the award. http://www.shashikamooruth.com

Fire Safety Training at FFLV

Last month, the local Fire Safety Department conducted a Fire Drill session for our students at Sandipani muni School, Food for Life Vrindavan. The purpose of the drill was to ensure that every student knows how to exit safely and quickly in case of a fire or in any other emergency. In the session, the students were taught the method of how a building would be evacuated in the event of a fire, and how the existing fire alarm system would be activated if any emergency occurs. They also learnt about the to-dos in case of any emergency, which includes:- how to respond to the fire alarm, stop then and there whatever they might be doing, start moving out of the building and close the door if they are the last one to exit it, leaving the lights on, move to the nearest exit, take the stairs, clear the sidewalks, […]

Career Counseling by Nayati’s staff

On 20th July, 2018, Dr.Kohli (Dean) and his team from Nayati Hospital conducted a career counseling session in Sandipani Muni School for our girls aimed at exploring work opportunities with Nayati Hospitals, narrowing and evaluating their career choices, & conducting a job search, followed by a Q&A round.By the end of the session the girls seemed confident and interested in pursuing various medical courses offered by the hospital. The foundation has also decided to join hands with Food for Life Vrindavan to help the students in their studies by giving 25% fees concession in their higher studies for the upcoming batches. We thank the organization for their endeavor. In the past also, Nayati conducted various mental/physical health awareness sessions and seminars with the teachers and students of SMS Vrindavan.
