Tree Plantation at SMS, FFLV

For Vrindavan, the trees provide more than just environmental benefits. They provide food and clean water. They are immensely important for the villagers, from the youngest school child to the most elderly. We see this particularly at schools, where both teachers and school children are benefiting from planting trees. Counting with the tradition of preserving environment and having Eco-friendly activities, trees were planted by FFLV on 24th August in it’s school premises. Uttar Pradesh Control Board, Mathura District, donated 500 saplings to FFLV out of which 5 trees were planted in Sandipani Muni School and the remaining 495 trees will be planted in Vrindavan and it’s neighboring villages. To observe this tradition, the Regional Officer of the Board- Mr. Arvind, Sadhu from Tatiya Ethan- Baba Madan Bihari, Abhay Vashisht from Preyas Organisation and Vivek Mahajan from Gareeb Ekta Dal came forward to plant the trees in FFLV School. We thank all of them for coming […]

International Youth Day Workshop at FFLV

Food for Life Vrindavan organized International Youth Day this month for the purpose of drawing attention to youth issues. FFLV held a seminar for the 12th grade girls of Sandipani Muni School in which they were made aware about the causes, the problems and the consequences of getting married at an early age. The main objective of the session was to raise awareness about the youth issues including child marriage and how they can get all the legal help they need to fight this evil prevailing in the society.
