Art Classes By Annette

She taught some amazing techniques of painting to FFLV girls. She taught the girls to use acrylic paints on canvas. It was a new experience for the girls as they had never used such paints before. The girls learned that how observing colours in any object that they paint is necessary and how after painting the outline of the object, they can use “dot-dot” technique to fill colours and bring life to their painting. We had girls from 9th to 12th grade who painted their imagination and creativity on the canvas. Days For Girls Training

On an average every girl gets 3000 days of period in her lifetime. In India, over 20 percent of girls from underprivileged families drop out of school completely after reaching puberty.  One of the main reasons for that is menstruation. This becomes one of the major reasons for them to miss school during their menstrual cycle or even drop out of school completely. To solve the problem, Days for Girls is an organisation that is committed to supporting a girl throughout her entire lifecycle, from providing her with a DFG (Days for girls) kit, to teaching her health education, to offering training for her when she grows older, […]

CONNECT Today…. TRANSFORM Tomorrow. It’s not just our mission; it’s our wish FOR YOU. On Sunday 22nd October, 2017, FFLV had their first alumni meet at the Sandipani Muni School. Total of 125 Alumni came together at their very first Alma Mater to attend the meet. It was overwhelming to see that the little girls who used to walk past the school gates are now mothers and they came along with their little babies in their arms. The meet began with a welcome ceremony which was followed by a group dance by the students and ex- students of FFLV displaying women empowerment.  A lot of ex-students even spoke about their school time and how it has influenced their lives in different ways.  Those, who are now mothers, expressed their desire of living the school life again. A special photo slide was made on this occasion, for a trip down the […]
