“The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential… these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.” The Akshaya Patra Foundation has organized 25 days inter-school cultural event called “Braj Heritage Fest” which comprises a series of contests which started on the 25th of July. Around 10,000 participants from more than 150 schools in the local Braj area have been allowed to participate and showcase their creative and innovative talents by taking part in various cultural contests like Painting, Theatre, literary, Dance, Vedic quiz, Music, Sacred chants, etc. A large number of our students from Sandpani Muni schools have actively participated in all the competitions and performed extremely well beyond ourexpectations. On the yearly celebration of World Population Day which happened on July the 11th, Sandipani Muni school in conjunction with Multi-Specialty Hospital, Nayati Medicity, Mathura organized an Awareness Seminar for the benefit of our girls. Students of SMS welcomed the Chief Guest Mrs. Sakshi Radia( Director- Nayati Healthcare), Guest of honor, Dr. Tanvi ( Senior Gynecologist) and Mr. Vivek Dave( Manager- CSR and outreach programs) from Nayati Medicity. The presentation session was conducted by Dr. Tanvi to provide awareness of reproductive and menstrual health, personal hygiene, cleanliness, and nutrition targeted at girls who are in the adolescent phase. Followed by a presentation, a question & answer session was also held wherein the girls participated with enthusiasm raising questions regarding gynecology which were answered by Dr. Tanvi. SMS and FFLV always strive to provide knowledge to their students in every aspect and to make them feel more self-confident and strong.
On the 9th of July, Sandipani Muni school organized an “Awareness workshop” in the presence of members of the Child Welfare Committee of Mathura and Police Officials of the Anti-Romeo Squad, UP. The workshop was primarily organized for students of 2nd to 12th grade to educate and inform them about how to avoid becoming a victim of crime and to provide hands-on tips on self-protection. The principal of SMS, Mr. Seemant Sharma welcomed our Chief guest Dr. Sarita Chaturvedi, member of CWC and Guest of honor, Mr. Manoj Kumar- Head of the Anti Romeo Squad. Dr. Sarita addressed the students about Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, Good-touch and bad-touch.
