Another proud moment for our students! We are very delighted to let you know that over time, the achievements of our girls are increasing. In the month of November 2018, both written and practical exams were conducted in Vrindavan by “Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mandal” a cultural institution which works for the promotion and propagation of Indian Classical Music and Dance, with its main institution located in Mumbai, India. Examinations are conducted according to the Mandal’s syllabus at various centers and approximately one thousand students per year took part in the various examinations among whom, 27 of our students were awarded the certificates for their admirable performance in the examinations on May 2019 after the results were declared. The events in which our students participated include vocal activities(Singing), Tabla(Indian Musical Instrument)and Odissi dance(Classical Indian dance form). We are happy to announce that the Board examinations results of class 10th and 12th have been declared by U.P.(Uttar Pradesh) Government .We are glad to share that 55 students(12th, SMIC), 48 students(10Th SMIC) and 21 students (10th, SMS) have attended the exams and all our students have passed the exams among whom Chanchal Rathore (85.66%), SMIC 10th, Ruksar(81.33%), SMS Kiki Nagla 10th and Poonam Sharma(81.40%), SMIC 12th have obtained top positions in the school. All of the students wish to continue further in their studies. Thanks to the teachers of SMS for working tirelessly and guiding the students: we are proud of their achievements as they did a great job and wish them a bright future ahead.
On the 8th of May 2019, Multi Super Specialty Hospital, one of the finest Healthcare providers in India with world class infrastructures and finest doctors, Nayati Medicity, Mathura, has organized a workshop on “Personal hygiene, Menstrual Hygiene and First Aid” as a celebration of INTERNATIONAL NURSING WEEK(6th May to 12th May). The students of SMS welcomed honorable Mrs. Sakshi Radia(Chief Guest), Mr. Navneet Singh(Public Relationship Officer), Mr. Dinesh Singh(Asst. Nursing Superintendent) and a team of three nurses from Nayati Medicity, Mathura. The team gave a presentation to the students about how to maintain personal hygiene, the correct way of washing hands and brushing teeth to prevent germs, maintaining a first-aid Kit with the necessary items ,important facts to be followed during menstrual time, providing them knowledge about ambulances and actions required during medical emergencies.
