“Awareness Workshop” at Sandipani Muni School

On the 9th of July, Sandipani Muni school organized an “Awareness workshop” in the presence of members of the Child Welfare Committee of Mathura and Police Officials of  the Anti-Romeo Squad, UP.  The workshop was primarily organized for students of 2nd to 12th grade to educate and inform them about how to avoid becoming a victim of crime and to provide hands-on tips on self-protection. The principal of SMS, Mr. Seemant Sharma welcomed our Chief guest Dr. Sarita Chaturvedi, member of CWC and Guest of honor, Mr. Manoj Kumar- Head of the Anti Romeo Squad. Dr. Sarita addressed the students about Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, Good-touch and bad-touch. SMS students’ welcome the long-awaited summer holidays.

Life has a balance between work and recreation. Students have a chance to relax during the Summer Holidays, filled with the enthusiasm to explore, travel and learn. Besides relaxing, they will also complete their assigned work in a well-planned manner and attend Tuition lessons in order to prepare for their return to School.The summer holidays for Sandipani Muni School are from May 18 – June 30, 2019, as per the order of Government. The school will re-open on July 1, 2019, at usual timings.

Another proud moment for our students! We are very delighted to let you know that over time, the achievements of our girls are increasing. In the month of November 2018, both written and practical exams were conducted in Vrindavan by “Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mandal” a cultural institution which works for the promotion and propagation of Indian Classical Music and Dance, with its main institution located in Mumbai, India. Examinations are conducted according to the Mandal’s syllabus at various centers and approximately one thousand students per year took part in the various examinations among whom, 27 of our students were awarded the certificates for their admirable performance in the examinations on May 2019 after the results were declared. The events in which our students participated include vocal activities(Singing), Tabla(Indian Musical Instrument)and Odissi dance(Classical Indian dance form).
