During the month of November, students at Santo António International School (SAIS), raised funds to help children at Sandipani Muni School. SAIS, an international, independent Catholic school located in Monte Estoril, Portugal teaches students to have respect for others, their culture, and their religion, and by doing so, prepares students to be responsible citizens of the world. It is with great pleasure to announce that students in Primary 4 and Primary 5 classes at SAIS participated in KidStory a reading program designed to encourage children to read, while also raising funds for Sandipani Muni School. We are delighted to announce that combined they read over 8,000 pages and raised 298€ to help children at SMS. These kids are heroes and we appreciate their efforts in helping the students of SMS.
Dear Friends, Another successful year of distribution! This year we distributed 6000 gift packs to the underprivileged children in Vrindavan and the surrounding villages. The packs included 2500 school bags and 3500 carry bags. These bags contained school supplies, personal hygiene items, toys and other goodies. The children were overjoyed to receive their gifts. We thank all of you for your generosity and support towards this yearly celebration of giving. If you didn’t get a chance to contribute to the festival, here is still a chance for you to donate. Our donation links are going to close down soon. Donate today:- http://www.fflv.org/new-year-gift-festival-2019/ Here are a few photos from the distribution:

Although that’s not my area of expertise, I had just gotten some experience which was exactly what the project needed. Working with the team was a breeze. And when I returned to my room I could see the results of my labor posted on Facebook, how rewarding. I wish I had scheduled more time to be at the school but the beautiful thing about this project is that I can do it from anywhere so this service will continue. I’m so grateful for the opportunity […]
