Rita Bahuguna Joshi visits FFLV

On 8th October, 2018, we had the honor of having Mrs. Rita Bahuguna Joshi, Cabinet Minister of Women Welfare, Family Welfare, Maternity and Child Welfare and Tourism, Uttar Pradesh with us at FFLV. She met with the girls of Sandipani Muni School and was really pleased to see the project.

A special program was conducted in her honor and she was fascinated by what she saw and shared her experience with us- “I had an amazing experience at FFLV- the most beautiful experience of my life. Since 40 years, I have been working for women empowerment, and after what I saw here, I truly believe that the trustees of FFLV from around the world have created a beautiful place for these girls, especially Rupa Raghunath who planted this seed 25 years back. That seed has now grown into a huge tree and this tree has so many beautiful leaves and I can see the name of every girl written on those leaves.

After seeing the arts- Karate, Dance, Gymnastics and playing of the musical instruments, I would like to ask- Who says Girls are Weak ? Girls are very strong. They are powerful. Because the heart of a girl is very strong. Her mind is strong. If a girl makes up her mind, and resolves to do anything, then no one in this world can stop her. I would take this opportunity to congratulate Rupa Raghunath for the work he has been doing for these girls in Vrindavan. These girls are so fortunate. I thank this organization and all the girls for creating an ideal for our society. Girls are number one. I would also like to thank everyone- The CEO, the teachers, principals, managers, all the employees and compliment all the sponsors who have sponsored these children. I am going to showcase these children in the capital city of UP, Lucknow. I have never seen anything like this before. God bless you all”.

We thank Rita Ji for visiting our school and spending her precious time with the girls at FFLV.
