On the 8th of May 2019, Multi Super Specialty Hospital, one of the finest Healthcare providers in India with world class infrastructures and finest doctors, Nayati Medicity, Mathura, has organized a workshop on “Personal hygiene, Menstrual Hygiene and First Aid” as a celebration of INTERNATIONAL NURSING WEEK(6th May to 12th May). The students of SMS welcomed honorable Mrs. Sakshi Radia(Chief Guest), Mr. Navneet Singh(Public Relationship Officer), Mr. Dinesh Singh(Asst. Nursing Superintendent) and a team of three nurses from Nayati Medicity, Mathura.  The team gave a presentation to the students about how to maintain personal hygiene, the correct way of washing hands and brushing teeth to prevent germs, maintaining a first-aid Kit  with the necessary items ,important facts to be followed during menstrual time, providing them knowledge about ambulances and  actions required during medical emergencies. Shar Moore’s visit at FFLV

On 15th April 2019, we had the honor of having Shar Moore, a renowned Keynote Speaker, Multi-International Award-Winning Mentor, member of Women Economic Forum, New Delhi Author and CEO/Founder of YMag Magazine with her husband, Russ Moore(Director, YMag) and a group of friends of her from Australia. We organized a press conference conducted by a group of journalists from different newspapers in which she expressed her views on Women Empowerment, Girl Education and Gender Equality. She also had a discussion with a group of 40 girls from Sandipani Muni school, taught them to believe in yourself and made them aware about the importance of education, about their rights and encouraged them to stand up for themselves and work hard to achieve their goals. Lisa’s Period Project

In the month of April, we had the pleasure of having Lisa with her friend Kiersten visit our school from the USA. She is an actress and volunteer at FFLV. She believes every girl deserves an education, yet millions of girls around the world miss school during their periods because they can’t afford pads. She teamed up with Days for Girls, an organization that provides a safe, beautiful, washable, and long-lasting alternative reusable pad, along with teaching vital health education to girls. She taught the students about feminine hygiene, helping them understand their bodies as they go through puberty with confidence and distributed around 700 kits to all the FFLV females(which include students, teachers, and maids).She started with a  #gofundme page to raise money to collect all 705 kits and bring them all the way to Vrindavan.
