Village Classrooms - 15 locations totaling 550 kids
For the benefit of our primary students and with the support from our donors, we have newly opened 4 extra classrooms in different locations. Some of the students who were not able to attend the education program now have the opportunity to continue their studies.
This month, we have a total of 15 rural locations where classes are being conducted daily for a total of 550 kids. Around 50 of the FFLV senior students have been given the opportunity to teach these classes along with some financial support. We also provide training to all the teachers twice a week in order to provide quality education to the kids. Proper monitoring is done by the supervision team to ensure reliable attendance by students and teachers, learning material availability, sanitization, and other facilities.
Recently, we also had a small festive Diwali celebration in the village schools where all the kids enjoyed having some sweets and chocolates.
We thank our donors for their support during these critical times and hope that with your steady support we can open more classrooms in many more locations. It's a sense of great satisfaction that our small girls can continue to study and learn during this difficult time.
Help us to provide learning spaces for young students in underprivileged villages around Vrindavan.

Shivani – A Future Event Manager
Shivani has recently completed her schooling in July 2020 at Sandipani Muni Inter College, FFLV. Since she joined the school, she has always been an enthusiastic, sincere, and ambitious student. Her active participation in every school program, function, etc. is a well-known fact.
Being career-oriented, she always wanted to gain some work experience along with further studies which will also facilitate her with a modicum of financial support. After completing her studies, she started working with a property dealer agency as a sales executive. Her responsibilities include dealing with potential clients, providing them with information and details regarding the variety of properties, payment methods, locations, and assisting them with different inquiries.
Her ambition is to start her own Event Management company and in order to achieve her goal, she has taken admission in an Event Management College for her studies. We wish her all the best for her future endeavors.
Ration Distribution – Action against Hunger
Ration distribution has been a very tangible FFLV project amid the Covid-19 emergency. This way of helping the most vulnerable part of the community (daily wage workers) is the best way to prevent our students and families from suffering from hunger and malnutrition.
This month it was the 8th time we have facilitated the families of our students with the Monthly Food Ration. Moreover, on the occasion of the Diwali Festival here in India, we have distributed 20 Kgs of wheat flour bags to around 60 needy FFLV staff members and widows.
The contribution of all our worldwide donors is certainly appreciated. Please keep supporting these families during the upcoming months.
You can also celebrate your special day (anniversaries, birthdays, etc.) by feeding a whole family for a month. Each Ration only costs $25 per family for a month.

Online Kartik Festival 2020
Our first performance is by Nisha from 12th grade. She performs the amazing classical dance through charming moves as an Apsara – the celestial dancers who reside in the higher planets.
Enjoy this graceful dance performance by our student, Anamika from 12th Grade. This is the second performance and in this beautiful song, a Gopi explains the naughty nature of Krishna to Mother Yashoda.
